According to Sky Sport Germany, Premier League giants Manchester United are considering signing Victor Osimhen ahead of England captain Harry Kane.
The reasons are that Kane’s transfer fee and salaries will be a lot higher than what Osimhen would command.
Osimhen, 24, is a lot more attractive for ‘The Red Devils’ than the older Kane, who is 29.
The Napoli striker would cost over 100 Million Euros and his salary, which is currently less than 5 Million Euros a year, will be a lot lower than that of Kane.
His contract will be till the summer of 2025, while Kane’s deal at Tottenham Hotspur will be up next year.
Ex-Manchester United ace Odion Ighalo, who Osimhen understudied in the Super Eagles, has already back the Napoli striker to move to Old Trafford.
Chelsea, who Osimhen followed as a boy growing up in Lagos, are also hot on the heels of the Super Eagles star striker.
