‘Simy’ Nwankwo may have scored his 13th goal of the season in Serie A, but his club Crotone still look doomed to be relegated back to the Italian lower league.
The striker doubled the home team’s lead on 40 minutes from the penalty only for Bologna to fight back in the second half and win 3-2.
He is now 10 goals behind Serie A leading scorer Cristiano Ronaldo of Juventus.
Crotone remain rock bottom of the table and are eight minutes from safety with 15 points from 28 matches.
