Kano-born Chukwubuike Junior Adamu has attracted the interest of Italian Serie A club Hellas Verona after a hugely successful six months on loan at Swiss side Saint Gallen.
The Red Bull Salzburg forward scored 15 goals and nine assists when he was shipped out on loan in January.
Verona were also interested in the Austria U21 international before he headed off to Switzerland.
Sport.ch said Verona sports director Tony D’Amico has again penciled down Junior Adamu.
Salzburg will be expecting at least five Million Euros should the 20-year-old striker be sold this summer.
