Sensational youngster Akinkunmi Amoo looks set to follow in the footsteps of Alhassan Yusuf as Young Player of the Year in Sweden.
Amoo, 19, has been nominated for the prestigious award after a breakthrough season with Hammarby.
The former Golden Eaglets star netted nine goals and provided four assists.
He also won his first trophy in Europe – the Sweden.
Incidentally, Alhassan Yusuf won the award in 2019 after he led IFK Goteborg to win the Sweden Cup.
The other nominees for this award are Veljko Birmancevic of champions Malmo and Hampus Finndel from Djurgadens IF.
Amoo is widely tipped to cash in on his sparking season with a transfer to a bigger league soon.
