Lille were one of the first clubs to table an offer for the sensational Gift Orban and now they have been joined in the race for his signature by fellow Ligue 1 club RC Lens.
Voetbalnieuws.be has reported that while Lille want Orban, 20, as a replacement for Canada international striker Jonathan David, Lens plan to replace Lois Openda with the Gent shooting star.
Lens were runners-up in Ligue 1 this past campaign and will play in the UEFA Champions League next season, while Lille finished fifth to qualify for the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Various reports said the explosive striker will most certainly quit his Belgian club this summer.
Gift Orban scored 20 goals in as many appearances since his arrival from Norwegian second division club Stabaek.
His transfer market valuation is between 15 and 20 Million Euros.
