Youngster Emmanuel David is primed for big things in Denmark after he distinguished himself on loan at Lithuanian club FK Kauno, according to a scouting report.
“If David can work on his final product as well as improve his decision making, I can see him standing out for Fremad, and hopefully he will be playing in the top division in Denmark before long,” predicted a scout, David Cohen, in a special report on the exciting winger.
David joined Danish second division side Fremad Amager from Kaduna academy Ikon Allah, and was immediately loaned to FK Kauno.
Last year, he netted four goals and assisted thrice in 15 appearances in what was his first season in senior football is a good return for the Nigerian youngster, who has still not even turned 20.
“David standout attribute is his dribbling. He possesses good flair and close ball control, and shifts his body well to get away from defenders,” the report further said.
“One thing he can improve on is his decision making, as he sometimes plays with his head down and is intent on dribbling 1v1, rather than looking for other options.
“Having said that, David has very good movement in behind, that creates space for his teammates to dribble/pass into.
“Capable of playing on either wing or up front, the young Nigerian is adept at finding pockets of space along the back line, which he generally looks to exploit with pass and move sequences, where he can use his pace to get round defenders.”
