Atletico hammered newly promoted Alhama 6-1. All-action forward Ajibade has made remarkable progress lately that Nigeria can now count on her going into next year’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

4.Henry Onyekuru
Super Eagles forward has got off to a favourite hunting ground of Turkey after he grabbed the winning goal for Adana Demirspor at Giresunspor on the opening of action in the Super Lig. Onyekuru enjoyed three fairly successful loan spells at Galatasaray and he has now started brightly at Adana.

Youngster Usor was on hand to score for Slavia Praha in a UEFA Conference League qualifier against top Greek team Panathinaikos. Slavia Praha will now hope to advance to the playoffs for a place in the group stage of the competition Thursday thanks to a 2-0 home win last week.

Goals, power and directness were in full display as the former Golden Eaglets scored twice for Russian club FC Krasnodar to smash past Lokomotiv Moscow 3-0 in a league game. The former ABS FC of Ilorin starlet scored two individual goals in the closing minutes of the encounter to fully introduce himself to the fans of his Russian Premier League club. His undoubted class will most certainly shine through this year after stints in Denmark and the lower league of Russia.
