The 23-year-old Super Eagles centre-forward was the foremost performer flying the Nigerian flag this past week after he grabbed his eighth goal in 10 appearances in the French Ligue 1 for an equally sensational FC Lorient to beat Brest 2-1 in a derby. He was man of the Match and was rated a season high 9.1. He is now joint leading scorer in Ligue 1 along with PSG top stars Neymar and Mbappe. He has now scored a total of 30 goals in his first three seasons in France. Certainly he already looks very good for a major transfer come January. His transfer market value is currently put at 12 Million Euros, but he could now go for more than double that figure very soon and there will be many suitors. His contract is up June 2024.
