Wilfred Ndidi, back from injury, delivered a flawless performance for Leicester City to stun Spurs in London as Taiwo Awoniyi continued to hit target in the Bundesliga for modest Union Berlin.

5.Wilfred Ndidi
The defensive midfielder showed class as Leicester City shot to second place in the Premier League table with a commanding 2-0 win at star-studded Tottenham. ‘The Foxes’ will again be front runners in England should they sustain such form in the New year and Ndidi will again be an important player for them after two months out with injury.
4.Asisat Oshoala
The Super Falcons skipper continues to shine with another set of impressive numbers – a goal and two assists – as Barcelona Ladies win big again at the weekend.

3.Leke James
The 28-year-old striker finished the season in Norway with his 13th goal against Sarsporg 08 for Molde FK, who finished as runners-up behind new champions Bodo/Glimt. Last season, he netted 17 goals as Molde were crowned champions. Good enough Molde are still in the UEFA Europa League and face Bundesliga side Hoffenheim in the Round of 32 in February.
2.David Okereke
The former Spezia star is gradually finding his bearing as a winger than a centre-forward after he scored his third goal of the campaign for champions Club Brugge to beat home team Antwerp 3-0 in midweek. His current tally though is a far cry from the nine goals he netted last season. It is hoped that with more playing minutes and growing confidence, he will rack in more goals.

1.Taiwo Awoniyi
Four goals in six games in the German Bundesliga have thrown up Liverpool loanee Taiwo Awoniyi and it comes at a time his club Union Berlin are battling an injury crisis upfront. His fourth strike was against visiting Borussia Dortmund. The striker has proved he can score goals at the highest level in Germany and now it’s about time he makes a permanent move there so that he could finally carve a niche for himself in Europe.

Nice one guys. Let the colour keep flying.
