Super Eagles have continued to shine leading up to the epic World Cup playoffs against arch-rivals Ghana with Moses Simon and goalkeeper Maduka Okoye the latest stars to show they mean business against the Black Stars later this month.
5.Anthony Nwakaeme
Even at the ripe old age of 32, this all-action forward is not letting up after he opened scoring for table-topping Trabzonspor at Fenerbache. The Turkish Super Lig match eventually finished 1-1 for Trabzonspor to open a 15-point gap at the top of the standings as they stay on track for their first league conquest since 1984. Nwakaeme has now netted 10 goals and delivered nine assists this league season.
4.Jamilu Collins
The defender responded positively to being axed by the Super Eagles by scoring his first goal in almost three years when he hit target in a Bundesliga 2 clash against Holstein Kiel. His club Paderborn eventually won 4-3 on the road. He has not played regularly this term as his contract runs out in June and he looks set to walk away a free agent.

3.Cyriel Dessers
The striker came off the bench to salvage a point for Feyenoord with Groningen. It was his first league in 2022. Dessers has continued to prove he has goals in his boots, but the question now is whether Feyenoord will make permanent his loan transfer from Belgian club Genk at the end of the season.
2.Maduka Okoye
The widely criticised Super Eagles shot stopper certainly did his confidence a world of good by stopping a penalty to help Dutch club Sparta Rotterdam beat home team Vitesse Arnhem by the odd goal. Okoye was also hit by an object from the stands, which caused the game to be halted in stoppage time, and also had to confront a pitch invader all in one game! Thankfully, it was a much-needed win for the Rotterdam club to ease relegation fears as they are too close for comfort hovering around the drop zone.

1.Moses Simon
The flying winger who enjoyed a superb AFCON outing scored the decisive kick in the penalty shootout that lifted FC Nantes to the final of the Coupe de France. Nantes will take on OGC Nice in the cup final in May with the winner qualifying to play in the UEFA Europa League. Moses Simon is now poised to add to the major honours he has won in Slovakia and Belgium.
