Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis have continued to impress with their clubs in the Bundesliga and Premier League, respectively, and this can only boost their chances of featuring at next month’s AFCON in Cameroon.
5.Anthony Nwakaeme
The durable forward is again playing a big part as Trabzonspor open up an impressive gap at the top of the Turkish Super Lig table. His goals and overall top displays are coming amid speculations of a transfer to the Premier League with clubs like Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Brentford already been linked to him.

Watford may be flirting once again with relegation worries but their Nigeria star has been one of the best signings in the Premier League this season. He has now netted six goals and made as many assists. He was named Watford Player of the Month for November and his goal at Leicester City on an icy pitch was selected as Goal of the Month as well. He is also in the running for the Premier League Player of the Month. Dennis has most certainly turned his career around after it seemed to be heading to the doldrums in Belgium. Who can bet against him not featuring at the AFCON next month?
