Super Eagles stars were again flying across Europe with Taiwo Awoniyi and Ademola Lookman hitting target, while goalkeeper Maduka Okoye kept another clean sheet in the Italian Serie A.
5.Maduka Okoye
The goalkeeper, who is set to be in goal for the forthcoming Super Eagles friendlies against Iran and Jordan, was in superb form as Udinese won 2-0 at Genoa to record another vital win in Serie A. He pulled off two big saves against the home team. The road win has pushed his club to 11th position in the standings with 39 points from 30 matches. He now heads to Turkey for the Super Eagles friendlies with the sole aim of proving to coach Eric Chelle that he should be handed the No 1 shirt after he did not get such guarantees and so stayed away from the last AFCON in Morocco.

4.Abraham Marcus
The 26-year-old forward has continued his fine form for Portuguese club Estrela after he netted a goal and provided two assists in a 4-0 spanking of Casa Pia. He was the most outstanding player on the day and so bagged the Man of the Match prize. He will surely be reconsidered by the Super Eagles should he continue in such fine fittle.
3.Moses Simon
The Super Eagles winger was Man of the Match for Paris FC to win the battle of relegation strugglers against Le Havre. He created eight chances in this very entertaining game. His club won 3-2 to record a very crucial victory in their quest to stay up in the French Ligue 1. In their debut season in the top flight, Paris are now 13th in the standings with 31 points from 27 matches, nine points clear of the relegation zone.

2.Ademola Lookman
‘Mola’ has continued to deliver for his new Spanish club after he scored in the Madrid Derby against Real Madrid just days after he provided an assist in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash at Spurs. Atletico lost both games, but his class was not under question. He has now scored twice in La Liga, he is the only high profile Nigerian international still alive in the Champions League and next month his team will battle Real Sociedad for the Copa del Rey. Certainly, not a bad start to life in Spain for this Super Eagles star.

1.Taiwo Awoniyi
The Super Eagles striker came off the bench to prove yet again that he belongs in the Premier League. Nottingham Forest won this survival clash against Tottenham with Awoniyi firing the third goal in a 3-0 win in London. It was a typical striker’s goal as latched onto a through pass into the box. It was his second goal in the Premier League. His limited game time this season may force him out of Forest this summer, but he still has a future in the Premier League. Forest are now 16th on the table with 32 points from 31 matches. They are three points outside the relegation pack.
