The young striker is truly living a dream when you recall that a year ago he was playing in the backwater league in Lithuania and scoring a bagful of goals.
And now he is strutting his stuff in one of the Top 5 major leagues – the French Ligue 1.
FC Lorient splashed a record eight million Euros to sign Moffi from Belgian club KV Kortrijk this past summer.
It had to do with his five goals for modest Kortrijk, who after some foot dragging eventually let him go to France for a humongous profit.
Moffi, 21, has so far scored three goals including getting on the scoreboard on his debut at Reims.
He is a young bull – strong and daring – and many experts tip him to continue to turn heads in France.
He is now been considered ahead of Austria international Adrian Grbic, who cost Lorient 10 million Euros last summer.
Lorient won Ligue 2 last season and now back in the top league they will most likely be battling for most of the season to stay up and Moffi’s goals will be crucial for their survival.
