Samuel Kalu has not recovered from a thigh injury and so will miss Bordeaux final game of the Ligue 1 season Sunday.
Kalu suffered his latest injury setback earlier this month and has not played since then.
The winger has had to endure a late return for pre-season, Coronavirus infection as well as several injuries this season.
The 23-year-old forward scored four goals in 20 appearances.
Despite a 3-0 home win against Lens last weekend, Bordeaux are still not safe from relegation.
They are away Sunday night at Reims, who are just a spot and a point ahead of Bordeaux.
Winners of this match-up will stay clear of demotion.
