Salary stalls new contract for Kingsley Ehizibue

Negotiations over salary has held back a contract extension for defender Kingsley Ehizibue at Serie A club Udinese.

Tuttomercato reported that Udinese are making efforts to renegotiate Ehizibue’s salary as part of a contract renewal.

According to the report, an agreement now seems less likely, following initial optimism.

Discussions are still ongoing, however, in an attempt to get the contract signed before the 31-year-old rightback could become a free agent.
