Umar netted in the 78th minute Saturday in a 3-1 home win by UD Almeria over Castellon for his 10th goal in the league.
Almeria remain third on the table with 45 points from 22 matches, but they could topple Espanyol in second place, which carries an automatic passage back to La Liga.
“I thank God, I feel great, I am blessed. It’s not easy to score six goals in the last four games,” elated Sadiq told SCORENigeria after the big home win.
“But I will keep on working because hard work pays and then we will see what will happen at the end of the season.”
The former U23 international striker has now scored 13 goals in all competitions for ambitious Almeria in the Segunda Division in Spain after he fired six goals for FK Partizan in Serbia in the first half of the season.
