After it looked like the deal will be off, Sadiq Umar has finally sealed his transfer to Real Sociedad from fellow La Liga club UD Almeria.
Real Sociedad resolved whatever differences they had with Almeria for the deal to scale through, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Issues were raised by the buying club that the striker still trained with his team today after it was agreed that will not be the case.
Sadiq has cost Sociedad 20 Million Euros with an additional six Million Euros in add-ons.
The 25-year-old striker is a direct replacement for Alexander Isak, who has signed for Newcastle United in the Premier League.
He will have his medical tonight to beat tomorrow’s transfer deadline.
