Home team Villarreal were running away with victory, before the gangling striker came to his team’s rescue in the 83rd minute with the leveler.
Real Sociedad loanee Sadiq, a 55th minute sub, headed home a rebound off a shot to restore parity just before full time.
It was his first LaLiga goal for Valencia in four appearances.
Valencia are now 17th on the table with 23 points from 24 matches and have just barely climbed above the relegation zone since September.
