Sadiq Umar has fired his eighth goal in the Spanish Segunda Division for Almeria to maintain top spot with a comfortable 3-0 home win over Real Zaragoza.
Umar opened scoring for his club after 61 minutes.
Almost halfway through the season, Almeria are now nine points clear at the top of the table with 45 points after 20 rounds of matches.
Last season, Sadiq netted 20 goals but Almeria still failed to gain promotion back to the Spanish La Liga.
The 24-year-old striker was widely expected to earn a big transfer, but so far he stays put at the Spanish club amid speculations over his future.
