Sadiq Umar is delighted he has got his groove back after a long injury layoff last season.
The lanky forward said he is getting better and hopes to do more as the season goes on.
“I feel good with my goal. I am getting better, last season I was out for long due to injury, but this season I am getting better, I know the more I play the better I become,” Sadiq told his club website.
He also commended his teammates for a good fight as they drew 1-1 at Osasuna at the weekend.
He scored another screamer in the 40th minute of the game to draw his team level.
“It was not an easy game, we created lots of opportunities in the game but unfortunately we couldn’t score more. It’s difficult to play against this kind of opposition, I am proud of this team,” he chimed.
Real Sociedad are sixth on the La Liga table with 26 points from 15 matches.
