The former agent of Victor Osimhen has revealed that the striker fears racism in Italy so much so that he told him he did not wish to play there even for champions Juventus and on a salary of 10 million Euros a year.
Jean-Gerard Benoit Czajka was fired by Osimhen after it was alleged he was working personal bonuses for himself during negotiations for the Lille striker’s transfer to Napoli.
“To be honest, Victor didn’t want to go to Italy,” he told France Football.
“He told me that racism issues scared him and that he didn’t feel it. He even told me in March-April: ‘I don’t want to go and play in Italy even if it’s for Juventus at € 10’.” million net per year”
Osimhen, 21, has since replaced that agent and he is soon to be presented as a player of Napoli on a five-year contract.
