“Total and absolute focus on national team work,” Ronaldo promised.
Ronaldo has joined the Portugal squad for the World Cup in Qatar just after giving a television interview in which he heavily criticised his club Manchester United and the manager, Erik ten Hag.
The superstar trained with the rest of the Portugal squad Monday night at the country’s national training centre in Lisbon.
A video showed Manchester United teammate Bruno Fernandes was cold towards Ronaldo when he arrived the Portugal dressing room for training.
The Portugal players are allowed to stay outside the training centre and only report for training before the match against the Super Eagles.
