Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has said they have to beat Cameroon to advance in the 2019 AFCON, but also disclosed he has yet to decide whether defender Jamilu Collins will start tomorrow after fully recovering from injury.
“We must win this important match and we are equally not unaware of Cameroon’s pedigree in a major tournament like this,” Rohr said at a press briefing in Alexandria today.
“Everybody is ready to fight. The boys are ready to give it their all and we are fully recuperated.
“The boys made mistakes against Madagascar, we all must be part of the mistakes as a team.
“We have moved on and have learnt our lessons.”
Collins is the Eagles first-choice leftback, but injury sidelined him for the group games.
He is now fully fit and Rohr said he is yet to decide whether the Germany-based defender will start tomorrow.
“Jamilu Collins is back, which is good news, but I am not sure yet if he will start the match or come from the bench,” he revealed.
