Gernot Rohr is seeking a million Dollars compensation as damages for his “unfair dismissal” as Super Eagles coach.
The NFF sacked Rohr in December with the understanding that they will pay him his salaries till the end of his contract in December 2022.
However, according to the BBC the coach has since then taken his the case to a FIFA tribunal, where he has asked for a million Dollars as compensation for wrongful dismissal.
The NFF severally breached his contract by not paying him his salaries as and when dues.
He is also owed some bonuses.
Rohr, 65, was in charge of Nigeria from 2016 till last year.
He qualified the country to the 2018 World Cup in Russia and also led them to third place at the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
He won 31, drew 13 and lost 14 matches in the 58 matches he was in charge of the three-time African champions.
