Nigeria’s only surviving club on the continent, Rivers United, will battle ASEC Mimosas of Cote d’Ivoire in Group B of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Motema Pembe from DR Congo and Diables Noir from Congo are the other teams drawn in the same group of the Confederation Cup with Rivers United.
The first match day is February 12, when Rivers United travel to Diables Noir, before they welcome ASEC Mimosas a week later.
The top two teams will qualify for the knockout rounds of the tournament.
No Nigerian club have won this competition since it was founded in 2004.
