Red Star Belgrade assistant coach Boris Savic has showered praise on Peter Olayinka for scoring a brace to help the team beat hosts Radnicki 1923 4-3 over the weekend.
Olayinka’s last goal was on August 11 and the coach said the striker needed the goals.
“It is important for them to score, especially for Peter, who has played less recently, but has shown that he is a quality footballer,” he remarked.
“As for Ivanić, he again showed his quality and how important he is to us. We missed him when he was injured.”
Olayinka has now scored three goals in the league and two in cup games for the top Serbian club.
