Union St.Gilloise CEO Philippe Bormans has already playfully said he is aiming for a record transfer for Victor Boniface between 50 and 100 million Euros, but the striker himself has spoken about his future.
Boniface told Het Nieuwsblad one of his top targets is to play in the UEFA Champions League.
“I want to play in the Champions League first,” he revealed.
And what of the many transfer rumours around him?
“It’s my agent’s job. He’s a professional and will keep me posted if there’s anything concrete,” he answered.
He has been linked with various clubs in the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Serie A already.
Norway-based Atta Aneke is the agent of the big centre-forward, who has shone well with his modest Brussels club in his first season in Belgium.
His goals helped his club to reach the last eight of the UEFA Europa League and they are in the Belgian Championship playoffs for a second straight season.
He cost Union two Million Euros last summer.
