Real Zaragoza midfielder James Igbekeme has suffered a groin injury, which could sideline him for several weeks, according to his Spanish club.
Scans have shown Igbekeme suffered a Grade 1 muscular injury around the groin of his left leg.
This season, he has scored a goal and provided four assists for his promotion-seeking club.
Left-sided midfielder Igbekeme, 24, has played a total of 50 matches for Real Zaragoza since his arrival last season from Gil Vicente of Portugal.
Real Zaragoza occupy the automatic promotion spot as they have 51 points from 29 matches to place second behind leaders Cadiz.
