Watford loanee Tom Dele-Bashiru has won the praise of the Reading boss after he scored twice for the English Championship side to beat Peterborough 3-1.
Former Flying Eagles midfielder Dele-Bashiru, who has endured a long layoff caused by a long-term injury, grabbed a second-half brace in the convincing home win Tuesday.
Reading manager Veljko Paunovic said the midfielder scored a great goal and he is gradually making his way into the team following his arrival from Watford.
“It was a fantastic goal and a very good performance from Tom Dele-Bashiru,” he commended.
“He was our earliest signing in the window, so he is furthest through that process – now he’s in good shape, he has learned what he needs to learn, the players around him know what he can bring to the table and…there you are.
“A great performance from him.”
