Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade has signed a two-year contract with Spanish club Atletico Madrid.
This followed the end of her two-year deal at Norwegian club Avaldsnes.
She will now be expected to help Atletico wrest the championship from arch rivals Barcelona, whose top star is Super Falcons skipper Asisat Oshoala.
‘Rash The Girl with Blue Hair’, who made her full international debut in 2018, scored goals for Avaldsnes to finish third in the Norwegian top league.
It was an improvement on their fifth place the previous campaign.
