Scottish giants Rangers plan to make Emmanuel Fernandez, who could make his Super Eagles debut in forthcoming friendlies against Iran and Jordan, their most expensive outgoing transfer.
This is after they placed a 40 million euros price tag on the 24-year-old central defender.
TEAMTalk said this asking price will make him the most expensive transfer sale in the history of Rangers.
Director of football at Fernandez previous club, Barry Fry, claimed that Rangers might eventually receive £30m or even £40m for the defender.
Top Premier League clubs Arsenal and Chelsea as well as Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have so far been linked to Fernandez.
It is understood that Rangers are prepared to reject any approach below their valuation for Fernandez, who has a long-term contract that runs until 2029.
Manager Danny Rohl is said to be determined to retain the player for at least another season.
