SCORENigeria has learnt that Premier League strugglers Southampton have tabled “attractive” personal terms to FC Lorient striker Terem Moffi.
Southampton want to sign Moffi, 23, this month so that he could score the goals to keep them up in the Premier League.
‘The Saints’ are currently bottom of the standings on 12 points from 18 games, three points from safety.
“Southampton have put on the table some attractive personal terms like salary and bonuses for the player,” a source close to him informed SCORENigeria
“They want him for this window.
“But there are also several other offers for him and his agent is studying them and talking with as many of the clubs as possible.”
Moffi still has a year and half left on his contract with his French Ligue 1 club.
This season, he has netted 10 goals thus far for the coastal club.
SCORENigeria has already reported that Lorient will sell for 25 Million Euros, which is far in excess of his transfer market value of 15 Million Euros.
Moffi joined them three years ago from Belgian club KV Kortrijk for eight Million Euros.
