Portugal-based midfielder Collins Nonso is the latest foreign-based professional to join the Nigeria U23 team for a crucial U23 AFCON qualifier this week in Sudan.
The 21-year-old Nonso, who features for Lusitano in Portugal, has teamed up with Austria-based winger Sunday Faleye in the U23s training camp in Abuja.
SCORENigeria gathered that the bulk of the squad to Sudan will be made up players who are based in Nigeria.
Sudan will welcome the U23 team to Omdurman on September 6 with the return leg in Nigeria three days later.
The overall winners over two legs will advance to the U23 AFCON in Egypt in November, which will serve as a qualifying tournament for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
