Nigerian midfielder Sunday Ugor has told SCORENigeria it was not a disgrace but a dream come true to play against Super Eagles even though his Dubai club Al Gharib were spanked 12-0 in a training match Sunday.

The Abuja-born player told only SCORENigeria: “No it was never a disgrace, it was a dream to be running on the same pitch with some of the best players in Africa.
“It was a big experience for an upcoming player like me to be side-by-side with players you only see on TV.”
Interestingly, he reunited with Super Eagles new call-up Alhassan Yusuf after they both played together for FC Hearts in Abuja.
“I was so happy to see Alhassan after such a long time,” said defensive midfielder Ugbor.
“He is still down to earth, after the match he drew me close to him like a big brother and that way he got the other Super Eagles to be free with me also.
“My teammates did not believe I played in the same team with him in Nigeria until they saw how he reacted to me.”

Sunday’s training match was played in four 30-minute halves and he played the third and fourth halves.
He was impressed with the Super Eagles.
“They are ready for the AFCON,” he remarked.
“Ahmed Musa and (Ademola) Lookman caused us so many problems.
“Iwobi was top-notch, I learnt a lot from him, Osimhen played relaxed, he scored, also made assists and even played deep sometimes in midfield.”
Another Super Eagles star, who started out in Abuja, Kenneth Omeruo, had encouraging parting words for him.
“He told me I am a good player and I should keep it up,” he revealed.
It was an hour of football that will live forever in his heart.
