Coach Jose Peseiro has remained upbeat the Super Eagles can beat hosts Algeria in tonight’s friendly in Oran even without several top stars like Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi, William Ekong and Samuel Chukwueze.
Osimhen, Ndidi as well as stand-in captain William Ekong are not available for this game due to injury.
However, Peseiro has insisted he has enough quality to work with against 2019 AFCON champions, who will be cheered on by record crowd.
“We believe in the players who are here, we believe in their abilities,” he said.
“I have confidence in them that they will do well.
“We have enough quality in our team to cope with the absence of those who are not here.”
Cyprus-based Francis Uzoho is expected to man the post tonight, while France-based striker Terem Moffi will lead the attack.
Both players did not feature against the Algerian CHAN team in Friday’s 2-2 draw in Constantine.
Kick-off tonight is 8pm.
