Mukairu’s superb curler from outside the box on his debut handed Anderlecht the full points at home against then league leaders Antwerp.
It was a first great impression by the winger, who is on a season-long loan from Turkish club Antalyaspor.
Interestingly, Mukairu is also involved in another goal, which was also nominated for the prestigious award – Lukas Nmecha pulled a goal back for Anderlecht at Beerschot courtesy of a great assist by the Nigerian star.
