The goal was described by UEFA as a “Galazo”.
He beat several nominees including compatriot Samuel Chukwueze to that award.
Former Golden Eaglets star Otubanjo said he was grateful for the support he has received and that helped to achieve this honour.
Both the Armenian football federation and Pyunik celebrated the award.
