Victor Osimhen’s promise that Galatasaray will win the UEFA Europa League with him suffered a massive body blow after the Turkish champions fell 4-1 at Dutch club AZ Almaar.
Osimhen was suspended for the match in Holland and Galatasaray had to play most of the second half a man short after one of their players was sent off.
The Super Eagles striker will return for the reverse tie Thursday in Istanbul as Galatasaray have to now win by more than 3-0 to reach the Round of 16.
In January, Osimhen turned down Manchester United as well as super rich offer from Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia that will pay him 30 Million Euros-a-year to stay put at Galatasaray.
He promised he will help the Turkish giants win the Europa League as well as ensure they win their third straight league title.
