After the controversies at Napoli, the captain of the Italian champions has backed Victor Osimhen to be at his best in tonight’s UEFA Champions League clash.
Napoli welcome mighty Real Madrid in matchday 2 of the Champions League after both teams won their opening group games.
Napoli skipper Giovanni Di Lorenzo said the recent controversies involving Osimhen will not affect the striker tonight against Real.
“For us, nothing has changed, his relationship with the team and his way of giving the best of himself has not changed,” assured Di Lorenzo.
“We have seen him during matches, he is always ready, always available for his teammates, he is the usual Osimhen, a great player and he will give his best, like everyone else, against Real Madrid .”
Osimhen has so far scored five goals in the new season, all in Serie A.
