Victor Osimhen proposed transfer to Galatasaray is still not across the line after Napoli rejected their latest offer for the striker.
Top Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Galatasaray submitted an offer of 70 Million Euros with bank documents attached for payment guarantees.
He said Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has insisted on 75 Million Euros guaranteed and has therefore rejected this latest bid.
SkySports further reported that Napoli maintain that the full release clause must be paid in two instalments, while Galatasaray are asking for several installmental payments.
The latest update on this transfer saga is provided by Fabrizio Romano, who said Galatasaray have now improved their offer to 75 Million Euros with 40 Million Euros paid upfront, while the balance payment of 35 Million Euros will be paid in instalments.
The ball is therefore now back in the court of Napoli.
Meetings between the two clubs have continued and the Turkish delegation has shifted their departure from Milan as a result.
The Galatasaray President has ordered the delegation not to return without Osimhen.
Osimhen has made it very clear he only wishes to play for Galatasray and would rather sit out the remaining one year of his contract at Napoli than to play again for the Italian champions.
He has also said he will not accept a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal even though they are ready to pay his 75 Million Euros release clause.
