The Victor Osimhen transfer drama is not about to end soon after the striker sent a medical certificate to Napoli to excuse him from the first day of pre-season training camp in Italy.
This information was reported by Transfer Expert Matteo Moretto on his YouTube channel.
It was later gathered that Napoli promised “sanctions” against the player should he not turn up.
Osimhen has been scheduled to be one of the players in the first set to report for a routine medical before the pre-season camp opens tomorrow.
This comes after Galatasaray had also made a special request to Napoli for them to excuse the player from training camp as all efforts were being done for his transfer to them to be concluded.
Osimhen officially returned to Napoli on July 1 after the end of his 10-month loan spell at Galatasaray.
He has a contract until June 2026.
