On the back of his new personal goals record, Victor Osimhen has hit out at those who he said wanted him to fail.
Osimhen scored 32 goals Saturday to set a new personal record for a single season for Galatasaray to trounce Sivasspor 4-1 in the Turkish Super Lig.
“To those who sat back hoping I’d fail…sorry to disappoint you,” he let off on social media.
He said his new record showed growth and is the result of silent and relentless hard work.
“This isn’t just about numbers. It’s about God, the growth and the silent, relentless work that speaks louder than any noise from the critics,” he further said.
He said he has enjoyed divine support.
“God is the greatest, and he remains in control,” he declared.
“We’re not done yet, God is just getting started.”
