Osimhen set for medical after Al Hilal agree to pay release clause

Victor Osimhen is now set for a routine medical after Al Hilal agreed to pay Napoli the 75 Million Euros release clause on the striker.

Osimhen has already agreed a salary of 35 Million Euros a year and a contract that will run until 2029 with the Saudi Arabian club, according to Top Transfer Expert Nicolo Schira.

And now another Transfer Expert, Fabrizio Romano, has come up with an update that the Riyadh club have an agreement in place with Napoli to pay the entire 75 Million Euros release clause on the player.

This was after Napoli insisted they will not give a discount following two bids by Al Hilal lower than the release clause.

Romano said Osimhen has returned to Nigeria and in the next few hours with his ‘yes’, the transfer will be completed.

He will now need to undergo a medical, possibly in Paris, to finalise on this switch.

It is expected that Osimhen will then lead the attack of Al Hilal at this year’s FIFA Club World Cup in the United States of America.

The Saudis will open their campaign in Miami against Real Madrid on June 18.
