Victor Osimhen has rallied Napoli to win again after the Serie A champions failed to win at Bologna, he missed a penalty and raged at his coach when he was subbed off.
The Super Eagles striker apologised for his outburst against coach Rudi Garcia when he was subbed off at the weekend.
Reports said Osimhen issued a strong positive message to the Napoli squad as a leader that he has grown to be at the Italian club.
He said he only wants Napoli to win matches.
The club have not won in four straight games and are already adrift of leaders Inter Milan in the title race.
Napoli coach Garcia refused to reveal his conversation with his striker, insisting that stays in the dressing room.
Osimhen though may be fined to maintain team discipline.
