The Super Eagles striker, who is on loan from Napoli, was credited with an assist for Galatasaray second goal in a 5-0 mauling of Rizespor Saturday night.
“I am happy with my performance. I want to continue to work hard and give my best to Galatasaray,” he declared after he showed great attitude both on and off the pitch.
“This game was an experiment for me. The next game will be much, much better.”
He enjoyed an instant connection with the highly partisan ‘Gala’ fans, jumping into the stands to celebrate with the Ultras after the resounding home victory.
Fans sported his now famous face mask at the stadium and experts were on TV to commend the positive energy he brought to the game.
Osimhen then took to Instagram to thank the fans for the warm welcome he got, again promising more energy and passion to lift the Istanbul giants to their targets.
Champions ‘Gala’ top the table after four rounds of matches with a perfect 12 points.
Next Saturday, they will do battle against bitter rivals Fenerbache in ‘The Intercontinental Derby’.
It will be Jose Mourinho against Osimhen.
