Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has been ruled out of Thursday’s friendly against Portugal on account of injury, the NFF have announced.
Osimhen has therefore been replaced by Cyriel Dessers from Serie A club US Cremonese.
The striker has netted nine goals for table-topping Napoli in the Italian top flight.
FC Lorient striker Terem Moffi and Paul Onuachu from Belgian club Genk will therefore battle for who will lead the Eagles strike force Thursday night in Lisbon.
The football federation also announced that South Africa-based defender Olisa Ndah will also miss the friendly due to injury.
His place has been taken up by Chidozie Awaziem.
