The 75 Million Euros release clause for Victor Osimhen is only valid for clubs outside Italy and that means Napoli will ask their local rivals to pay a lot more to sign the striker this summer.
According to Il Mattino, Napoli have now asked local rivals Juventus to pay at least 90 Million Euros for the player, whose loan deal at Galatasaray ends next month.
Other reports have quoted between 80 and 85 Million Euros.
Juventus sports director Cristiano Guintoli was the man who signed Osimhen for Napoli from Lille in 2020.
He enjoys a good relationship with the player, but the same cannot be said of his relationship with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis and that explained his exit from the club.
Osimhen is widely reported to be Guintoli’s No 1 transfer target this summer nonetheless.
