Victor Osimhen has dismissed the critical comments of his brother, Andrew, against Napoli and coach Gennaro Gattuso, saying he does not have a spokesman.
Brother Andrew has lashed out at both Napoli and Gattuso, saying the team have not played to the strength of Victor and so his lack of goals in Italy.
“Napoli does not play for their centre-forward, the team do not strengthen Victor’s scoring ability,” Andrew told Radio Marte.
“And as long as that is not the case, he will not be able to score the goals everyone expects. Napoli should play more as a team and especially for him (Victor).”
However, Osimhen himself has quickly debunked these claims.
“I love Napoli, the club, the coach and the team. I especially love my team mates and hope to keep growing and getting better to help them more,” he said on Instagram.
“That is my official opinion and I ask it is respected… No one is my spokesperson or anything.”
