Victor Osimhen has been injured for over three weeks now and as a result he has missed important matches for Galatasaray as well as the Super Eagles.
It has now been reported that the star striker is making good progress in his recovery from a muscle strain and could well be fit for the Istanbul derby against Kasimpasa on October 9.
That would also mean that he would be available for selection for his team’s home game against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League tie on October 13.
Before the injury, Osimhen has scored six goals and made two assists in four Super Lig appearances.
