Speculations have continued over the future of Victor Osimhen with the player himself pleading for more time to decide on where he will play in the new season.
Galatasaray, where Osimhen enjoyed a successful loan spell this past season, have been pushing to sign the 26-year-old striker on a permanent basis.
They have offered him a super salary that could rise up to 25 Million Euros a year including guaranteed bonuses.
According to leading Turkish newspaper Sabah, Galatasaray have since approached the player to give them his final decision on his future.
He has told them he will need at least another week to do so.
Galatasaray have proposed to pay the release clause of 75 Million Euros in several instalments, while Napoli would prefer they get most of the cash as soon as possible.
Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal have thus far been the only club who have made a formal bid for Osimhen, which the striker has since rejected.
In the last few days, at least eight top clubs across Europe – from Real Madrid to Chelsea – have contacted Osimhen on a transfer.
